In the world of portable massagers, there are a few factors that define what a good model really is. Those are practicality, ease of use, percussion properties, and above all – affordability. While some models push the price tag higher and higher with each year, others remain affordable and try to lead the mid-tier guns closer to the high-end models without costing you an arm and a leg. The Mebak 3 Massager Gun is without a doubt one of the best values for your money out there currently and thanks to its unique features and attachments it will do a decent job no matter the task.
In this review, we will go over its features, compare it to other models, and see how much value does paying around a hundred dollars get you these days. Overview & Features
Design and build quality
The design of this massage gun is very similar to most other percussion massagers out there with a gun-like shape and a large, long handle that makes massaging with it relatively easy. It also makes holding it in awkward positions easier. The body is made out of a plastic polymer that keeps the weight down while maintaining decent durability. The heat openings at the top part are well-positioned above the motor but they sometimes struggle to keep that same motor cool, which is why the gun sometimes overheat after heavy usage.
The whole massage gun weighs around 2.1 lbs with all its attachments and carrying case which isn’t bad but isn’t very good either. The smaller 1s models from Mebak weigh around 1.6 lbs making them much easier to carry around and operate. Still, most of the weight here comes from the larger replaceable battery.
Head adjustability
There is no head adjustability in this massage gun, apart from the interchangeable heads and different speeds that you can use. The massage depth is around 12 mm (appx. 0.5 inches) which can’t be changed as well.
Percussion & Attachments
In terms of its massaging percussions, there are 5 levels you can choose for the speed settings. Those are all good for different body parts that benefit from the different massaging intensity. While the smaller muscles can be loosened up with fewer percussions per minute, larger muscle groups will need deeper more powerful, and faster massaging. This is why it is good to have as many speed settings as possible. That combined with its attachments really makes the Mebak 3 a good all-around tool for every part of your body.
The attachments here are good for different purposes – neck, shoulder, lower back, spine, Achilles tendon, large muscle groups, joints and deep tissues (meridian massage), sensitive tissues, and two universal heads for all body parts.

Ease of use and portability
Thanks to the carrying case the Mebak 3 is actually quite portable even with all of its attachments with it. Still, it is a bit on the heavy side which makes constantly carrying it everywhere with you a bit strenuous. Using it is also easy if we are talking about a 10-20 minute massage session. If you have to use it on a daily basis on you and your athletes, then the slightly higher weight becomes more of an issue. But even then, when comparing it to some bigger and more powerful massage guns that weigh around 4-5 lbs it does feel like a much lighter tool. As a whole, as most of the weight comes from the motor, you will have to pick between a lightweight or a powerful massage gun or just be satisfied with the middle where the Mebak 3 stands…
Noise
The low levels of noise this massager produces are perhaps one of its most worthy features. While other mid-tier massagers produce around 40-60db, the Mebak 3 has an average noise level of around 39db. Even with these low levels, the motor manages to remain fairly powerful. However, it is worth noting that only the lower speed modes produce such low noise levels. Once you push the massager to its upper-speed settings, it becomes noisier with an operating noise of around 60db which is substantial if you want to be ultra-quiet.
Battery
The battery on the Mebak 3 is quite substantial and is also one of its strong features. With average usage, the 4-component battery inside can last you around 3 hours and it takes roughly 90 minutes to go from 0 to full. The battery is also removable which comes in handy if you want to buy a spare one and change them if you have no power outlets near you when using the massage gun.
Other Models
Mebak is a brand that has a large variety of portable percussion massagers and they are all good value for your money but they still have some differentiating features between them. To start things off, there are the other Mebak models – Chic, 1s, and the Mebak 5. The Mebak 3 stands somewhere between all of those, truly behind only to the 5 series. The 1s has 3 intensity speeds, while the 3, 5, and Chic have 5 speeds along with 3 auto modes. Weight-wise, the 3 and Chic are the heaviest at almost 2 lbs while the Mebak 5 is 1.79 lbs and the 1s is just 1.6lbs making it one of the lightest massagers out there.
The battery department is where the 3 takes the cake with its 2600mAh battery compared to the 2400 or 2000mAh batteries on all other Mebak massagers. It is also the only one with a removable battery. Noise-wise, it is also the quietest with the rest of the group producing around 50-60db. All of these massagers come with a carrying case. Lastly, when it comes to attachments the Mebak 3 takes the first place again with its 7 different attachments compared to the 6 attachments of the Mebak 5 Black, 5 on the Chic, and 4 on the 1s.
Now, let’s sum up some of the main advantages and disadvantages of the Mebak 3.

Conclusion
Our Rating:
As a whole, if you are looking for a massage gun that is easy to use, functional, and has a battery that can back all of its performance up, the Mebak 3 is a solid choice. It won’t cost you an arm and a leg and comes with all the necessary accessories for you to be able to travel with it and use it after workouts in the gym. Actually, a lot of massage guns offer similar levels of performance but rarely you see that good of a deal in this price range so that alone is a huge selling point, let alone the low noise levels, 7 attachments, removable battery, hard carrying case, and other benefits you get here. As a whole, I rated it with four and a half stars mainly due to the poor performance under heavy stress and the occasional overheating.
